A double under is a jump where you jump high once and the jump rope goes around you twice.


It is fundamentally important that you jump in a controlled, stable manner and, if possible, “in one spot”.


The key factors for successful double unders in rope skipping are


  1. rhythm and regularity
  2. Accelerating the rope from the wrists
  3. A stable and solid hull
